نقش کامپیوتر در آموزش زبان
Computers have come to play a role in nearly every aspect of our day-to-day lives, certainly including education. In the arena of second language instruction, computers enable learners to interact with others and become engaged in lessons in new and meaningful ways (Warschauer, 2006). In A Practical Guide to Using Computers in Language Teaching, John de Szendeffy provides a user-friendly look at how computer technology can be integrated into the classroom, regardless of the instructor’s previous experience with computers.

Computer-assisted language learning (CALL) is succinctly defined in a seminal work by Levy (1997: p. 1) as "the search for and study of applications of the computer in language teaching and learning".[1] CALL embraces a wide range of ICT applications and approaches to teaching and learning foreign languages, from the "traditional" drill-and-practice programs that characterised CALL in the 1960s and 1970s to more recent manifestations of CALL, e.g. as used in a virtual learning environment and Web-based distance learning. It also extends to the use of corpora and concordancers, interactive whiteboards,[2] Computer-mediated communication (CMC),[3] language learning in virtual worlds, and Mobile-assisted language learning (MALL).[4]

What Is A Lesson Plan
There is some confusion about what a lesson plan* is and is not. A worksheet is not a lesson plan. A handout is not a lesson plan. A classroom game or activity is not a lesson plan. In fact, there is no need for a lesson plan to ever be seen, touched, considered or dreamed of by students, and nor does it even need to exist on paper or disk, though it usually does.
A lesson plan is a teacher's plan for teaching a lesson. It can exist in the teacher's mind, on the back of an envelope, or on one or more beautifully formatted sheets of A4 paper. Its purpose is to outline the "programme" for a single lesson. That's why it's called a lesson plan. It helps the teacher in both planning and executing the lesson. And it helps the students, unbeknownst to them, by ensuring that they receive an actual lesson with a beginning, a middle and an end, that aims to help them learn some specific thing that they didn't know at the beginning of the lesson (or practise and make progress in that specific thing).

Ways To Encourage STT
There is often fierce debate about the relative merits of Teacher Talking Time (TTT) and Student Talking Time (STT) in the classroom. Although TTT has its place in providing a model for students, it is clear that the principal objective of most students is to be able to use English verbally, ie talk as well [...]

Total Physical Response
In Total Physical Response (TPR), the instructor gives the students commands in the target language and the students act those commands out using whole-body responses. This can be categorized as part of the comprehension approach to language teaching.

Brain Gym® Exercises
These simple exercises are based on the copyrighted work of Paul E. Dennison, Ph.D., and Gail E. Dennison. Brain Gym is a registered trademark of Brain Gym® International . I first encountered Brain Gym in "Smart Moves," a best selling book written by Carla Hannaford, Ph.D. Dr. Hannaford states that our bodies are very much a part of all our learning, and learning is not an isolated "brain" function. Every nerve and cell is a network contributing to our intelligence and our learning capability. Many educators have found this work quite helpful in improving overall concentration in class. Introduced here, you will find four basic "Brain Gym" exercises which implement the ideas developed in "Smart Moves" and can be used quickly in any classroom.
Below is a series of movements called PACE. They are surprisingly simple, but very effective! Everyone has a unique PACE and these activities will help both teacher and student become positive, active, clear and energetic for learning. For colorful, fun PACE and Brain Gym® supplies contact the Edu-Kinesthetics on-line bookstore at Braingym.com .
# Drink Water
As Carla Hannaford says, "Water comprises more of the brain (with estimates of 90%) than of any other organ of the body." Having students drink some water before and during class can help "grease the wheel". Drinking water is very important before any stressful situation - tests! - as we tend to perspire under stress, and de-hydration can effect our concentration negatively.
# "Brain Buttons"
This exercise helps improve blood flow to the brain to "switch on" the entire brain before a lesson begins. The increased blood flow helps improve concentration skills required for reading, writing, etc.
* Put one hand so that there is as wide a space as possible between the thumb and index finger.
* Place your index and thumb into the slight indentations below the collar bone on each side of the sternum. Press lightly in a pulsing manner.
* At the same time put the other hand over the navel area of the stomach. Gently press on these points for about 2 minutes.
* "Cross Crawl"
This exercise helps coordinate right and left brain by exercising the information flow between the two hemispheres. It is useful for spelling, writing, listening, reading and comprehension.
* Stand or sit. Put the right hand across the body to the left knee as you raise it, and then do the same thing for the left hand on the right knee just as if you were marching.
* Just do this either sitting or standing for about 2 minutes.
# "Hook Ups"
This works well for nerves before a test or special event such as making a speech. Any situation which will cause nervousness calls for a few "hook ups" to calm the mind and improve concentration.
* Stand or sit. Cross the right leg over the left at the ankles.
* Take your right wrist and cross it over the left wrist and link up the fingers so that the right wrist is on top.
* Bend the elbows out and gently turn the fingers in towards the body until they rest on the sternum (breast bone) in the center of the chest. Stay in this position.
* Keep the ankles crossed and the wrists crossed and then breathe evenly in this position for a few minutes. You will be noticeably calmer after that time.

My Tips
Teachers are responsible for the class management. Maybe the teacher is one day serious the other day is not. it depends on the class position. Students should touch their progress. I think experienced teachers can be more useful and effective. I believe a good teacher doesn’t use the same plan each semester completely. I hope these tips are good for teacher and they can enrich their plan in the class. Hope to receive your suggestions & criticism.

یادگیری زبان
As you know learning English is very much like practicing a sport. Let's say you want to improve your stamina and decide to go jogging. So on Monday and Tuesday morning you actually get up 30 minutes earlier than usual and you jog in the park for about 15 minutes. Then, on Wednesday morning it's raining hard and you decide to take a short break from your new fitness program. You say to yourself: 'As soon as the rain stops I'll go jogging again'. On Thursday morning the sun is shining again and the weather is perfect for another jog. Just when you are about to leave the house your cell phone rings and your boss says that you need to get into the office half an hour earlier to prepare a sales presentation for an unexpected client. Of course giving a presentation to new potential clients is more important than your jogging program and if you are really honest, you didn't want to do any exercise that morning anyway.

20 Questions
One person thinks of an object (person, place, or thing). Everyone takes turns asking yes/no questions until someone can guess correctly (or until 20 questions are asked). The difficult part is that you cannot ask "wh" questions!
Example: PINEAPPLE. Does it talk? No. Does it make life easier? No. Do you eat it? Yes. Is it something you would eat for dinner? No. Etc...
If someone makes a mistake in forming the question, other club members can help turn it into a proper question.
